Bhai Dooj Festival is also spelt as Bhaidooj Festival,
Bhaiduj or Bhai Duj Festival in India. Bhai Dooj is
celebrated between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters apply
sacred tika on their brother's forehead and pray for their long
life. Brothers' bless their sisters and promise to protect them from
all hardships in life.

Hindus. One of the most awaited festival is Bhaiya-dooj. Bhaiya
meaning brother, and dooj meaning two days after new moon, this
festival is celebrated two days after Diwali in Kartik month of
Hindu calendar.
